What is the cost of the airport shuttle service?
We offer an airport shuttle service that can make a stop at the grocery store on the way to our hotel. The cost is $25 for the first person and $15 for each additional person. Please let us know if you would like to take advantage of this service. You can fill out our Airport Transportation form to reserve your shuttle ride.
Does the hotel have filtered water?
We are one of the only resorts that have 100% filtered water. Every faucet has filtered water.
Do you offer car parking?
We have limited parking space. Please let us know before you arrive if you plan to rent a car. We do not recommend renting a car since water taxis and drivers are so affordable. It also benefits the locals more.
Does the hotel provide conversion power adapters?
The electric outlets are the same as in North America. There is no need for converters. Do you provide a hair dryer in the room? Each villa is equipped with a hair dryer. Please note that our rooms do not have hair dryers. However, should you require one, we are more than happy to provide a hair dryer upon request.
Do you provide an iron/board in the room?
We have an iron and board available for guests, but not in every room.
Do you provide beach/pool towels?
Yes, the hotel provides you with beach/pool towels free of charge. No need to pack your own!

What is the cancellation policy for this property?
Property and Cancellation Policies :
Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date will be refunded to the original credit card charged, less a $100 administrative fee.
Refunds will only be issued to the card used to make the reservation.
No refund will be issued for no-shows or cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the arrival date.
Guests who have booked through a third-party website should refer to that website's cancellation policy.
Do you have any specific terms and conditions that I should be aware of?
All reservations are subject to 4% Honduran Hotel Tax and 15% Honduran Sales Tax.
All rooms are NON-SMOKING. Guests found to be in violation of this policy will be asked to stop immediately and charged a non-negotiable cleaning fee of $350. Should guest(s) continue to violate this policy after the initial warning, they will be asked to leave the resort. Any damages found to be a result of this violation will be assessed by management and charged accordingly.
At the time of check-in, guests must present the card used to make the reservation, as well as valid passports or Honduran ID's for all guests.
NO PETS are allowed in any rooms or condos, for any reason, for any length of time.
Final payment for the balance after deposit will be charged to the credit card used to reserve, 30 days prior to check in.
Any additional service charges, damages or unpaid bar and restaurant bills will be charged to the credit card on file, unless alternative payments arrangements are made.
Are there a lot of bugs in the area, and what can I do to avoid them?
Bug spray is highly recommended. Reapplying after being in the water can also help keep them away. Coconut oil is another effective option for protecting against bugs.
Are there televisions in the room?
Only our Suites and Villas have televisions.
Is the internet available at the hotel?
We have high-speed internet for your streaming needs.
Do you offer babysitting services?
We are an adult-only hotel and do not provide babysitting services. All guests must be 16 years of age or older.
What is the process for making restaurant reservations, and how can I make arrangements for a large party?
Several of the restaurants on the island require reservations. We can help you make those reservations. Additionally, most of the restaurants are small and may not be able to accommodate large groups efficiently. If you are traveling with a party of more than six people, we can help you contact the restaurant owners in advance to make arrangements.
Do you offer any excursions, and can you help me plan my itinerary?
We can schedule all of your excursions in advance. If you have found something online and would like our assistance, please feel free to ask us for help. We are happy to assist you with any excursions you are interested in!
Do you have water sports equipment available for guests, and what types of equipment do you offer?
We have paddle boards and kayaks available for guests of the resort to use during their stay.
Do you have a backup generator, and how often does the power go out?
We are one of the few resorts that have a full generator. The power here goes out fairly often, so this is a nice amenity to have.
Does the hotel have safety and security measures in place?
There is a night watchman that walks the property as we sleep. Do not be alarmed if you hear or see him in the middle of the night. Unfortunately, petty theft is common here. Please keep your electronics, cash, jewelry, etc., in your possession or in your room.
Can you provide me with some guidance on appropriate clothing for the island?
There really is no dress code here. You can go just about anywhere in your bathing suit and flip-flops. Only dress up if you really feel the urge. Also, leave expensive jewelry at home if you’re comfortable with it. So many items get lost in the ocean.
Will I be able to use my credit card for most purchases, or should I also bring cash?
When traveling to the island, it's important to note that cash is often the preferred method of payment. Many restaurants and vendors do not accept credit cards, so it's a good idea to bring a sufficient amount of cash with you. Paypal and Venmo are also accepted at some places, so setting up an account with them before arriving can be helpful. The U.S. dollar is widely accepted on the island, so there's no need to exchange your money for the local currency (Lempira) before you arrive. Some vendors may give you change in Lempira as a souvenir, but this is not necessary. Just make sure that the cash you bring is in good condition – no tears, tape, or writing on the bills – as damaged currency may not be accepted. Creases and folds are fine.
Do you offer laundry service?
Our housekeeping staff can do your laundry for a fee. We also have a launderer who will pick up and deliver your laundry, charging by the pound. If you are staying in our villas, you will have access to a full-size washer and dryer.
